Ronnie's allergies became too much for her to bear. Chris had not yet taken Maya in to the vet to be tested, so they took her to Operation Kindness (in Addison, I believe). Oh, and I *told* Chris this cat was a boy! Maya is now Milo -- if you are interested in him, email Chris and he can tell you which Operation Kindness has him. Thank you.

Maya is a beautiful young female Siamese. She's a
special guest appearance -- my good friends Chris and Ronnie
noticed her and her friend when they were out eating dinner.
When Chris and Ronnie were ready to leave, they saw that her
companion had been killed by a car and Maya was alone, so
they brought her home.
Ronnie is allergic to cats, and Maya must find a new home. Chris is going to take her to the vet and have her tested. Maya is extremely playful -- she can entertain herself with her mouse for hours -- and affectionate. She is also one of the most unusual cats I've ever seen. These pictures don't really show the richness of her coloring. Her ears and tail are dark pure chocolate brown, and her fur shades from rich dark ivory to brown. She is a lovely girl.
