I'm sitting against the bed with my legs extended.
To my right, Lylly has just decided to try to make
space for herself at the trough. And there's no room
at the inn for Gandalf, whom you can just barely see
at the top left of the photo.

Gandalf decides that, as a self-actualized being, it
is his responsibility to find other ways to meet his
needs...

... providing me with one of the cutest moments in history, as well as yet another male cat with a nursing fixation.

Meanwhile, the feast (and the crowding) continue.

Despite his valiant efforts, Gandalf is forced to realize that is just isn't the same...

... so he says to hell with self-actualization, I'm
just a baby!

And just as he moves into position...

Mommy decides that she's had enough and walks off.
|

And Harley sleeps the sleep of the blissful, thus
illustrating the moral of the story: don't let false pride or fear deter you from what you know you want and
need.
